festival to showcase Vietnam’s marine and seaside attractions will be
held in Paris in late July. A festival to promote Vietnam’s marine and
seaside attractions will take place in the French capitalParis on July
28 and 29. The first-ever 2014 Vietnam Sea Festival has been organized
by national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and the Bank for Investment
and Development of Vietnam.
Representative of 25 Vietnamese travel businesses and organizations
will promote their products at the festival at Pierre Cardin Fashion
House, Vietnam Airlines and BIDV announced at a press conference in
March in Hanoi.
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and hundreds of
investors and travel agencies from France and other European countries
are expected to attend the event.
A variety of performances, exhibitions and handicraft product
displays, a seafood feast, as well as activities illustrating the
lifestyle of coastal residents of Vietnam, will be presented to visitors
to the festival.
Vietnam Airlines is working with travel companies in France and
Vietnam on a promotional campaign that includes discounts of up to 25
percent for French travelers to Vietnam from April 21 to June 19 and
from August 20 to October 21.
In February, Vietnam Airlines participated in the annual Brussels
Tourism Fair in Belgium, where experts forecast that Asia – including Vietnam tour - would remain an attractive destination for European travelers despite the global economic downturn.

Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, or sit and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee as you view the awakening of Halong Bay's boat people. After that, the cruise takes us to the Cave of Surprises. This is the biggest cave in Halong Bay and is filled with many rock formations all lit up by colorful lights. From here, it’s plain sailing back to the main harbor and returning to Hanoi by late afternoon.

Vietnam tour: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mekong Delta 4D3N
Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnel, that highlight the dedication and
ingenuity of Viet Cong soldiers during the Vietnam War. The site is a
startling contrast to today’s Vietnam, a fast-developing country where
the legacy of war is almost forgotten. The tunnels were dug with simple
tools and bare hands during the French occupation in the 1940s, and
further expanded during the Vietnam War in the 1960s to provide refuge
and a defensive advantage over the American soldiers. Despite all the
bombings in their town, Cu Chi people were able to continue their lives
beneath the soil, where they slept, ate, planned attacks, healed their

Begin the tour with a departure for Tay Ninh Province, an area near the Vietnamese-Cambodian border, to visit Black Lady Mountain, about 11 km northeast of Tay Ninh. Black Lady Mountain spreads over an area of 24 km, reaches an altitude of 986m and consists of three main mountains.
