If you have travel in Vietnam
and lucky come to Ha Long bay. The magnificent Halong Bay is a mystical
wonder with cultural, historical and geological uniqueness. The shear
natural beauty of the area has made it one of Vietnam’s most popular
destinations and has also earned itself UNESCO World Heritage status.
The majestic beauty of the bay and its islands can only be fully
appreciated by traveling by boat amongst the islands, fjords, and
inlets. This overnight trip offers a great opportunity to cruise the bay
and enjoy excursions to grottoes where amazing and unsuspected shapes
are pointed out to you.
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
This morning drive to the coastal port of Halong, four hours from Hanoi,
and enjoy the lush scenery as you drive through the rich farmlands of
the Red River Delta. Upon arriving in Halong, board the traditional
cruise, and enjoy lunch whilst cruising along the beautiful waters. The
scenery is just spectacular as you pass limestone karsts jutting up into
the sky.
Arrive at Tiptop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and
climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for
fantastic views and photo opportunities. Return to the boat and sail for
about one hour to our second stop – Cua Van Floating Fishing Village,
the largest fishing village in Halong Bay. Arrive at the fishing
village. There are two options for visiting the village, by kayak or by
sampan. For those who do not wish to kayak we will travel by tender and
then transfer to small bamboo boats (sampans) rowed by villagers. Those
who wish to go by kayak will depart from the boat in two-seater,
self-rowed kayaks and kayak to and through the village and back to the
boat. A kayaking tour guide will lead the way. Enjoying the bay’s
freshest seafood dinner.
Day 2: Halong Bay
Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, or sit and enjoy
a fresh cup of coffee as you view the awakening of Halong Bay's boat
people. Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some
of Halong Bay’s more untouched locales. Exact locations and itinerary
depend on tide conditions. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking, cave
exploring and swimming. Rejoin the cruise and relax onboard as we sail
to the overnight anchorage.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Wake up refreshed from a good night’s sleep as the boat motors towards
Surprise Cave, the biggest in Halong Bay. Board the tender for a short
trip to the cave and be amazed - the entry to the cave is deceptively
narrow but once through, the cave opens up to a large chamber with
impressive limestone formations. Surprise! Then it’s back to the boat
and cruise to Halong Port arriving around noon, where you will continue
to Hanoi. Finish Vietnam tour Ha Long bay 3D2N journey
