Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi City tour half day
Upon arrival in Hanoi, your guide and private car will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. This afternoon, visiting Ba Dinh Square, where the late President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Vietnam on 2 September 1945. Next, stroll toward Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting - place.

Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. The tour continues with a stop at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), the first Imperial school in Vietnam built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay
This morning drive to the coastal port of Halong, four hours from Hanoi, and enjoy the lush scenery as you drive through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Upon arriving in Halong, board the traditional cruise, and enjoy lunch whilst cruising along the beautiful waters. The scenery is just spectacular as you pass limestone karsts jutting up into the sky. Take the tender to visit a fish farm or to pick up a kayak to paddle through the waters. Or if you like just relax onboard the junk and admire the scenery. End the day on deck with a drink in hand to watch the sun set over the bay followed by a freshly prepared seafood dinner served under the stars, before retiring to your cabin for the night.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, or sit and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee as you view the awakening of Halong Bay's boat people. After that, the cruise take us to the Cave of Surprises. This is the biggest cave in Halong Bay and is filled with many rock formations all lit up by colourful lights. At the heart of Cat Ba Island lies a visually stunning and ecologically diverse national park, the first decreed protected area in Vietnam to include a marine component (Dawkins 14). It had previously been the site of a timber company. In 2006, the boundaries of the national park were redefined, so the park contained 109 km² of land area and an additional 52 km² of inshore waters and mangrove covered tidal zones (langur website).

The park is staffed by 92 people, including over 60 park rangers. In 2004, Cat Ba Archipelago was declared a UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve Area in order to protect the multiple terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems as well the diverse plant and animal life that is found on the Island.
