Cai Be – a new destinations for visitor travel in Vietnam.
Cai Be Floating Market is a famous place in Mekong Delta, here the Tien
River forms the border between Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Ben Tre
Provinces. Every day, approximately 400 -500 boats filled with fruits,
vegetables and other products anchor along the banks of the river,
waiting for traders and customers. The merchandise sold in each boat is
hung on a high pole in front of the boat as a sample to attract
customers from a distance (Vietnam tour)
The day will begin with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City to the
Mekong Delta, that became famous world wide during what locals call the
anti-American War. The Delta is also famous for its floating market
which are typical of the Phung Hiep and the Cai Be. Upon arrival, we
will take a boat cruise to visit the Cai Be Floating Market. The
floating market is one of the most interesting and exciting attractions
to visit in the Mekong. At the floating market you can watch locals
aboard their small boats trading fresh goods and local commodities.
Leave Cai Be for the Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet/ An Binh Islet where the
maze of shady creeks will surely fascinate you. Visit the orchard
garden, enjoy tropical fruits, visit the daily activities the handicraft
villages of local people. You will see the process of coconut candy
production and popcorn (or pop-rice) making by local people. From here
have a pleasant time riding bicycles to the villages, sightseeing or
relaxing on the hammock.
We will then continue to Vinh Long Town crossing the My Thuan Suspension
Bridge that sits high above the Mekong River and reaches each to end.
We will then experience a traditional lunch meal at a local home. After
lunch we will return to Ho Chi Minh City. See more other Vietnam tour.
