Vietnam golf vacation - Golf tour in Hanoi (4D3N)

Having traveled to golf in Vietnam on and off for the last 8 years I have seen a huge increase in golf popularity, both among local Vietnamese and visiting golfers. According to the Vietnam Golf Association there are around 35,000 Vietnamese that golf and close to 80,000 expatriate golfers, the latter mostly Korean and Japanese working in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi is one of the top tourist destinations, after two rounds of golf, you will have more time to stroll around or discover the ancient and charming city dated back 11 Century. Add to this around 50,000 golf tourists who travel in Vietnam each year and play on the 35 or so golf courses in Vietnam and you have the makings of some busy days.

Tips booking hotel online in Vietnam

You’ve likely heard plenty of opinions about whether it is better to book a hotel or a hostel way in advance or at the last minute to save money. What you need to know about booking online – from the reviews, to the payment, to the things you need to check beforehand. Both of these options have their individual benefits, as well as some things to consider. Here we review the pros and cons of booking a hotel way in advance or at the last minute to see which will save you more money (Vietnam hotel)

Hotel staff is not going to be very inclined to lower the rate because they are more than likely to sell the room to another person walking in after you. If the hotel is nearly empty, they're much more likely to lower their rate for you. Just the simple "Law of Supply and Demand."

Before calling to book a reservation, have all of your questions ready and, again, do not take any longer than absolutely necessary to place the reservation. Desk clerks are masters at multi-tasking, and just because they are friendly on the phone (which they are paid to be), does not mean they have the neither time nor inclination to chit chat. hotel in vietnam
Most hotels have some less preferred rooms which they are willing to offer at a lower price. For example, there may be a room with a blocked view, one near the elevator or an odd shaped room or which slightly noisy etc is. If you do not mind the small inconvenience, you may be able to strike a bargain.

Check the prices on the room list, and figure out how to get the best-value rooms. Room prices can vary tremendously within a hotel according to facilities provided. On their websites (and near their reception desks), most places post a room summary that lists each room, its bed configuration, facilities, and maximum price (for one and for two people), sometimes broken down by season (low, middle, high).

Also read the breakfast, tax, and extra-bed policies. By studying this information, you'll see that, in many places, a shower costs less than a bath, and a double bed is cheaper than twins. In other words, an inattentive couple who would have been just as happy with a shower and a double bed can end up paying more for an unneeded tub and twins.
